SO HOW SAFE IS THIS BUILDING MATERIAL?
After recent firestorms a couple of years ago here in San Diego a client called and said that the deck around her pool had completely burned up which was right next to the water feature we had built and would I come and check it out.  Upon examination the only damage was some discoloration.  The structure was unharmed and the PVC pipe inside the "rock" was still intact.  A good test of the abiltity of faux rock to withstand fire.

Please note that no lumber was left around feature indicating that all combustables were completely consumed, the fire being extremely hot.   The PVC pipe that fed the waterfall was severely damaged    When the client has replaced the plumbing and is ready, a quick powerwash and re-paint should get things back to normal.
