Henderson Sculptural Arts , Inc. (HSA) was begun in Feb. of 1998 following the creation of The Sand Sculpture Coalition, (SSC) in May of 1989.  Both By Dave Henderson of San Diego, CA.  Since 1989 SSC has seen it's artists travel all over North America, Europe, Australia, and even Japan, producing state-of-the-art sand sculptures at fairs, festivals, shopping malls, theme parks, conventions, and other special events.

            Dave also created the first instructional video on the art of sand sculpture, called, "The Magic of Sand Sculpture" and also initiated the Ocean Beach Sand Castle Festival to benefit folks with developmental disabilities which ran for seven years in a row and was seen by thousands.. .

Henderson Sculptural Arts/The Sand Sculpture Coalition

              Mr. Henderson has always worked with his hands being firstly a dental technician for 13 plus years out of highschool.  He then began working full time as a sand sculptor in 1992 which he continues to this day.   Since 1998 his focus has been primarily on creating custom faux rock/water features for clients in the Southern California area, primarily San Diego County.   In addition, he has won awards in the fields of underwater photography as well as sand sculpture and to date personally sold over $1,250,000 worth of sand sculptures.  He is currently adding his over 24 years of background in the arts field to the products and services he and his team now offer through HSA.
