1998 New York State Fair Sand Castle 
      Indoor World Record, 33.5' Tall.
All 412 tons of sand were compacted inside of this mountain of forms, one layer at a time.  Each terrace being then removed, one at a time from the top down and the sand being then carved all the way to the bottom.
